Nineteen students at LMPS (Lakeland Middle Preparatory School) were inducted Thursday (3.12.20) into the Beta Club.
Requirements are a 3.5 GPA based on all academic core subjects on semester grades and conduct grades of S or E.
Service hour requirements are five hours for 6th and 7th graders and six hours for 8th graders. Members must attend five meetings per year. The National Beta Club quote is “Let us Lead by Serving Others.”
Julie O’Bryan, 7th grade math teacher, is one of the Beta Club chapter sponsors at LMPS.
