LMPS’s (Lakeland Middle Preparatory School) Lady Lions soccer team came up short last night (9.5.18) against the Collierville West Dragons. Saylor Coleman, with an assist by Lily Douglas, scored the first goal. Sophie Paule scored the second goal from a direct free kick. The final score was 6-2.
Team Co-Captain Courtney Fencl said of the loss, “This was our toughest game, but I am very proud of how we played.”
The Lions now have a 2-2 record. Their next game is Monday (9.10.18) against Arlington Middle at Arlington High School.
