The Lakeland Middle Preparatory School (LMPS) BOTB (Battle of the Books) will meet West Collierville Middle School at 4 p.m. Tuesday (2.25.20) in the first completion of the school year.
Bethany Christy Campbell, M.Ed., teacher-librarian at LMPS, is in her third year of sponsoring BOTB. (The middle school opened in August 2017.)
She said they practice every Tuesday after school. “We won for the county in 2017/2018, we were first runner-up in 2018/2019, and we hope to place again this year. Our first battle is away at Collierville West. We are excited, but we also know they are tough contenders.”
