A second grade class at LES (Lakeland Elementary School) surprised their teacher, Mallory Ham, with a special question Friday (2.28.20) in the classroom: “Ms. Ham will you marry me?”
Her fiancé Jacob Nobles arranged for the students to hold letters which spelled out the question as a surprise to her.
In an email to parents Monday, she said she was pretty sure the students were just as excited as she was. “Every single one of your children holds a HUGE special piece of my heart as they’re my first class. I hope they never forget last Friday as I never will! I am so glad they were able to be a part of this!!”
This school year is Ms. Ham’s first year at LES.
