Community and PTA leaders have been invited to the “LES Leaders Soar” Club Showcase at LES (Lakeland Elementary School) May 10th.
Tonya Carson, first grade teacher and a member of the LES LEAD (Leadership, Education and Development) Team, said 60 guests have been invited to the Showcase featuring 16 clubs at the elementary school.
The LEAD team is a group of teachers that work on leadership and development within the school. “For example, we planned the Blue Ribbon celebration, oversee professional development and additional jobs within the school,” said Ms. Carson.
She said guests will be escorted through the building by student ambassadors to learn more about the LES clubs
