The LES (Lakeland Elementary School) Glee Club sang the National Anthem at a Grizzlies Game Jan. 16 at the FedEx Forum.
Dianne Davis, music specialist at LES and director of the Glee Club, said 42 members of the Club performed. “Besides watching the game they also watched the pregame warmup,” said Ms. Davis.
“They were selected to perform based on a video submitted of the group singing the National Anthem at the Veterans Day program. They were excited to perform and had a fun evening afterwards watching the Grizzlies game.”
