The final of three political forms is tonight (10.22.18) at LMPS (Lakeland Middle Preparatory School) sponsored by the LMPS PTO.

All candidates for Mayor and Board of Commissioners have been invited, according to Cindy Davis, PTO president. Candidates running for Lakeland School Board are not part of this forum.

The election to select a Mayor, two commissioners and two school board members is Nov. 6. Early voting continues until Nov. 1. There is an early vote location in Lakeland at The Refuge Church, 9817 Huff N Puff Rd, although any early voting location in Shelby County can be utilized. On election day, voting is only by precinct and there are four in Lakeland.
