This Friday night on March 3rd at LPS all are welcome to attend the inaugural LPS talent event. There are 15 acts – mostly singing, some character impressions, and even someone icing cupcakes according to LPS Choir Director Mr. Hansen. Tickets will be 5 dollars. It begins at 6 o’clock! Lakeland Schools have never been short of talent and in prior years other events have given our students the opportunity to shine. This will be the first time in the LPS auditorium that students will be able to showcase their individual talents.
Mrs. Nolen and Mr. Sweeney will be the hosts. Talent on display will include Lakeland students Cooper Rushing, Reily Smith, Ursula Mbassi, Elaina Wright, Marielisa Lopez, Emmy Warne, Bonnie Phelan, Breanna King, Raelyn Leung, Santiago Gonzalez, Margaret Jamora, Katie Sanders, Carrington Criswell, Naima Harper Bey, Lydia Ballard, and Emma Oswald.
