If you’ve been waiting for your McD’s fries or burgers, the wait is almost over.
The fast-food eatery in Lakeland is supposed to open Nov. 2 at 5 a.m., according to Ronnie Leonard, area supervisor. It is located at 9940 U.S. Highway 64, just east of Walgreen’s
Ms. Leonard said the official grand opening will be about a month later.
The original Lakeland McDonald’s was located at 3665 Canada Rd near I-40 but was closed last month to prepare for the new location. The pole sign was also removed in September.
