Lakeland Town Square and Arts Council Kick Off Inaugural Springfest This Saturday

The fall Lakeland Arts Festival has been a success and organizers hope the new spring version will be well attended.

A new spring tradition is taking root in Lakeland. On Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Lakeland Town Square will host the inaugural LTS Spring Festival, a family-friendly event presented in partnership with the Lakeland Arts Council.

While the event is intentionally smaller than the popular Lakeland Arts and Crafts Festival held each fall (set for October 25 this year), organizers hope Springfest will become an annual favorite.

Live music will take center stage throughout the morning. The lineup includes Jeremy Stanfill at 10 a.m., followed by a performance from the Lakeland Prep Orchestra at 11, and Josh Green rounding out the event at noon.

Josh Bloch of Lakeland Town Square expressed gratitude for the local support. “We want to thank the vendors and the city of Lakeland for being so welcoming to our community,” said Bloch. Organizers are hopeful for a strong turnout and look forward to hosting more events like this in the future.

In addition to live entertainment, attendees can enjoy a bite to eat from on-site restaurants like The Owners Box or grab a delicious meal from the Wagon Wheel Food Truck.

Whether you’re a Lakeland local or just looking for something fun to do this weekend, Springfest promises music, food, and community spirit—rain or shine.
