The City of Lakeland Board of Commissioners (BOC) has invited the public to join them for a special National Day of Prayer observance on Thursday, May 1, at 10:00 a.m. The event will take place at the I.H. Managerial Clubhouse, located at 4523 Canada Road.
The annual gathering brings together community members, local pastors, and civic leaders to lift up the nation in unified prayer. Attendees will join voices in praying for the United States, its government, military, media, business, education, churches, and families.
Commissioner Connie McCarter said this event is an opportunity for residents to come together and reflect on the values that unite Lakeland.
