The Lakeland Senior Center is excited to announce that the Sock Hop Dinner that was cancelled in August 2021 due to rising Covid-19 cases and mask mandates is back on the calendar, rescheduled for March 25, 2022. The location is the IH Clubhouse (4523 Canada Rd.) and the time is 6:00 p.m. The catered dinner is from Victory Lane BBQ with all the fixings, tea, and dessert. Come prepared to Rock to the Oldies as the The Boomers perform, from 7:00-8:30 pm, including a “Best Dressed” Costume Contest. Advance tickets only. Tickets are $12 per person and will be available at the Lakeland Senior Center beginning February 21, 2022. Please try to bring correct change. If paying by check, make payment out to: City of Lakeland.
