Lakeland resident honored for 25 years as Germantown reserve officer

Lakeland resident Eric Dahler was recognized last night (10.28.19) by Germantown Mayor Mike Palazzolo for serving as a volunteer reserve officer there 25 years, according to his sister, Laurie Vaughn, also a Lakeland resident.

This is the longest anyone has served in Germantown. The recognition came during a Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting at Germantown City Hall as Monday was proclaimed Eric Dahler Day.

Officer Dahler has lived in Lakeland since 2006.  He and his wife Stephanie have a daughter Alexis and a son Spencer.

Eric’s brother Mark Dahler is a volunteer reserve deputy with the Shelby County Sheriff’s officers and serves as sergeant-at-arms at Lakeland Board of Commissioners meetings at City Hall.
