Lakeland Prep junior Emma Morgan has been named the Lions’ Athlete of the Week after delivering an all-around standout performance on the volleyball court.
Morgan, the team’s setter, kept the pressure on opponents with an impressive 93.9% serve accuracy, a stat that Lions head coach Jenny Kiesel says was key to the team’s momentum. She also recorded 41 assists, running the offense with precision, while adding two kills and contributing 12 digs on defense.
“Emma’s consistency and leadership continue to make her a cornerstone of our success,” Kiesel said.
With her strong play on both sides of the ball, Morgan remains an essential piece of the Lions’ push this season.
