Lakeland Preparatory School has named junior swimmer Liam Sheridan as its Athlete of the Week, recognizing his standout performance in the pool and his exceptional leadership on the Lakeland Prep swim team.
Sheridan has qualified for the Tennessee State Championships in both the 500 freestyle and 200 freestyle, marking a major accomplishment in his three-year career with the program. Known for his discipline and commitment, he has become a reliable force for the Lions, consistently pushing himself and those around him to excel.
Beyond his individual achievements, Sheridan is praised for his leadership—despite being just a junior. He leads team warm-ups at meets, helps ensure his teammates are mentally and physically prepared for their events, and is widely regarded as the team’s most enthusiastic supporter.
