Lakeland Parks and Recreation Department is offering tennis clinics this fall for kids ages 5 years old to 18 years old. Baylor Moss, Recreation Program Supervisor for Lakeland, says the clinics are taught by David DeGutis. Mr. DeGutis has been a USPTA tennis instructor for 18 years.
All of the clinics will be held at the tennis courts at Windward Slopes Park on Sunday afternoons starting October 2, 2022 and will end on October 30, 2022. Players from the ages of 5 through 10 will be coached from 1-2 pm, and for players ages 11 through 18 it will be 2-3pm. The price for each child will be $99 for the month long session. According to information on the City of Lakeland’s website, any rained out session will be made up at the end of the monthly clinic.
