Items Accepted Include:

  • Yard waste, tree limbs, fencing
  • Mattresses, box springs, bed frames
  • Furniture and most household appliances**
  • Computers, accessories, and cables
  • Phones, televisions, gaming systems, and other electronics

Please note: Appliances must be professionally decommissioned, and paperwork must be provided at the time of disposal.

Items Not Accepted:

  • Oils, paints, anti-freeze
  • Pesticides, herbicides, and chemicals
  • Railroad ties
  • Fluorescent bulbs or light bulbs
  • Non-decommissioned appliances

Residents with questions about specific items are encouraged to contact the Public Works Department at (901) 867-5409 prior to the event.

This effort is part of Lakeland’s ongoing commitment to community beautification and responsible waste disposal.
