The Lakeland yard sale tradition returns this weekend as residents prepare for the Spring 2025 version, scheduled for Saturday, April 26. Since its launch in 2014, the event has grown into a twice-yearly staple for local bargain hunters and neighborhood sellers alike.
Typically featuring anywhere from 50 to over 200 participating households, the yard sale has become a widely anticipated event. As of today, over 30 homes have already signed up, with more expected to join throughout the week.
Anyone interested in participating and being listed in the official guide must email their address to wesley@wesleyalanwright.com by Wednesday, April 23.
This year’s sale will again be featured on Yard Sale Treasure Map, offering several tools to help shoppers plan their routes:
There is no rain date scheduled, but while Friday’s forecast calls for showers, Saturday’s weather is expected to be favorable. Some sellers may begin as early as Friday morning, but the main event kicks off early Saturday, with most activity peaking by 10 a.m. and wrapping up by 2 p.m.
Sellers are reminded to put out their own signage and ensure it is taken down by Monday, April 28.
With a decade of history and a strong community following, the Lakeland Yard Sale continues to be a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, declutter, and discover treasures across our city.
