It’s coming to Lakeland and you’ll have a chance to win it.
The Memphis St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway has chosen a Lakeland neighborhood for its 2019 Dream Home site.
Mayor Wyatt Bunker announced today that the fundraiser supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis will be in the Winstead Farms subdivision.
The community is invited to attend a meeting with City and St. Jude officials at 5 p.m. Sept. 18 at the IH Clubhouse to learn about Lakeland’s selection and the house details.

Tickets to win the house and other prizes are $100 each with all proceeds going to St. Jude.
Southern Serenity Homes is the builder and construction is expected to start soon, said the Mayor. The Home Giveaway will be a great opportunity for Lakeland citizens to demonstrate their generosity and support for the miracles at St. Jude, he added.
He expects the event to draw upwards of 100,000 visitors to the City when it opens next year.
