The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, January 28, at the Lakeland Golf Club. Recognized as the Chamber’s most well-attended event of the year, the luncheon will take place from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and will celebrate outstanding achievements by individuals, businesses, and organizations during 2024.
Dr. Ted Horrell, Superintendent of Lakeland Schools, will serve as the guest speaker for the event. Attendees will also enjoy a performance by the Lakeland Preparatory School String Ensemble, which will perform prior to the luncheon and open the program with a musical selection.
Catering for the event will be provided by Pink Flamingo. Memphis Goodwill is the event sponsor, with Leaders Credit Union serving as the Spotlight Table sponsor. In addition to the awards presentations, the program will include a check presentation to the Lakeland School System Boosters, funded through proceeds from a recent golf tournament.
Seating is limited, and advance reservations are required. Admission is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-members.
