The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce invites local business leaders, residents, and guests to the March Chamber Luncheon on Wednesday, May 28, from 11:45 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lakeland Golf Club, located at 3049 Davies Plantation Rd.
This month’s luncheon presents a unique opportunity for attendees to learn more about a key development shaping the future of Lakeland. If you’ve had questions or curiosity about the large tract of land currently under development at the corner of Davies Plantation and Canada Road, the Chamber meeting will be the perfect time to gain some insight. Ashmont is a mixed-use development with single family homes, townhomes, multi-family, retail, medical, office and hospitality opportunities.
The development has been discussed at multiple city meetings over the past two years, including a meeting where Mr. Smith said a well-known grocery store was researching that location. More about that can be read here. Crews are currently putting in roads on the Ashmont property which will lead back to the single-family homes section of the mixed-use development.
Guests will hear from an expert panel featuring commercial real estate agent Shawn Massey, along with Vince Smith and Barton Thomas, the developers of Ashmont, who will provide in-depth updates and a look at what’s to come.
The event is sponsored by Memphis Goodwill, and lunch will be catered by Owners Box, known for their delicious offerings. This month’s spotlight table will feature Bloomin’ Blinds, showcasing their products and services.
Seating is limited, and RSVPs are required. Admission is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and stay for the Q&A session following the presentation.
