Lakeland is bringing back its holiday parade tradition, and this year it comes with a twist! The city will be doing a “Grinchmas” Christmas on November 30th, inviting families and friends to celebrate with a parade, tree lighting, and festive activities. The parade kicks off at 3:00 PM at St. Paul United Methodist Church (2949 Davies Plantation Rd), winding through the heart of the city and concluding at Lakeland Preparatory School (5020 Lions Crest Drive).

Following the parade’s end around 4:30 PM, attendees are invited to IH Managerial Park (4523 Canada Rd) for the evening’s festivities. Mayor Roman will perform the tree-lighting ceremony, setting the city’s Christmas tree aglow at 5:00 PM, followed by a performance by Lakeland Elementary’s Glee Club.
Guests can enjoy arts and crafts from 5:15 to 6:30 PM, while a special outdoor screening of The Grinch (2018) will start at 5:30 PM.
