The Lakeland Arts Council (LAC) is bringing world-class music closer to the community through an exciting new partnership with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra (MSO). Thanks to the collaboration between Wesley Wright, Founder and President of the Lakeland Arts Council, and Peter Abell, CEO and President of the Memphis Symphony, Lakeland residents and those in Northeast Shelby County now have a unique opportunity to experience one of the most celebrated concerts of the season — at a special discounted price.
The MSO’s Opening Concert of the 2025 Season will feature the breathtaking Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, from 7:30–10:00 PM at the Cannon Center for the Performing Arts.
To celebrate this partnership, the Lakeland Arts Council is offering an exclusive discount for concertgoers. With the coupon code LAC, tickets can be purchased for as low as $10 (discount applies to orange, blue, and green seating sections).
“We’re thrilled to not only bring the Symphony to our community but also to help bring our community to the Symphony,” said Wright. “This partnership opens the door for more people to experience the transformative power of live music.”
Tickets must be purchased online at www.memphissymphony.org. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy an unforgettable evening of music while supporting the arts in our region.
