The Lady Lions Soccer Team won its inaugural soccer game Thursday (8.22.19) with a win of 9-0 against Millington. Their win came on the same night as wins for the LMPS (Lakeland Middle Preparatory School) football team and volleyball team.
Parent Viviana CiFuentes said top scorers for the game were Stephanie CiFuentes and Saylor Coleman with two goals each.
The Aug. 19th game against Houston Middle was rescheduled to Sept. 19th because of the heat index, said Mrs. CiFuentes.
The next game is tomorrow (8.26.19) against Arlington at Arlington High School.
Megan Criner, a sixth grade STEM and science teacher at LMPS, is the coach.
