Keegan Fong receives Georgia-Pacific scholarship

Lakeland resident and 2019 Arlington High School (AHS) graduate Keegan Fong has received an $8,000 scholarship from Georgia-Pacific Foundation Employees’ Children Scholarship.  The program is administered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

Keegan was the AHS Valedictorian and plans to attend Vanderbilt University.

He is the son of Ume and Brian Fong and Mr. Fong is a research scientist at Georgia-Pacific’s Technology & Innovation Center in Memphis.

In addition to the scholarship, Keegan also received copies of Charles Koch’s books about market-based management: “Good Profit” and “Science of Success.”
