Happy Turkey Day
Thanksgiving and the holiday season have officially arrived today.
If you were thinking it’s a bit late in the month for Thanksgiving, it does seem that way. It hasn’t been this late in the month since 2013.
Thanksgiving has been commemorated since the time of Abraham Lincoln on the last Thursday of the month. In 1941, President Franklin D. Roosevelt signed a bill declaring Thanksgiving would fall on the fourth Thursday of November.
Since November this year started on a Friday, the fourth Thursday came close to the end of the month.
