Grizzlies Summer Basketball Camp started today (7.15.19) at LMPS (Lakeland Middle Preparatory School) for students ages 7-16, according to Wendi Haley, recreation program supervisor for the City of Lakeland.
The four-day camp, presented by Nike, runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today through Thursday and includes skills training provided by Grizzlies Youth Basketball staff.
In addition, the program includes a Nike camp T-shirt, full-size Grizzlies basketball and other Grizz-themed items, she said. There are also guest appearances at camp of Memphis Grizzlies personalities, certificates e-signed by a Grizzlies player and two tickets to a future Grizzlies game and pre-game shoot around.
