Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today at four precincts serving Lakeland voters for the 2018 Election.

LAK01-L First Baptist Church
LAK02-L St. Paul UMC
STE00-L Oak Springs Baptist Church
In addition to state and federal general and municipal candidates, Lakeland residents are choosing a mayor, two commissioners and three school board members.
There are 9,557 registered voters in Lakeland, according to Linda Phillips, administrator of elections for the Shelby County Election Commission (SCEC). During early voting (Oct. 17-Nov. 1) 3,772 Lakeland voters cast their ballots or 39.5%, she said.
Among the early vote locations was The Refuge Church in Lakeland which saw 7,293 people vote. However, during the early vote period, voters could cast ballots at any Shelby County location so the 7K+ voters do not represent just Lakeland voters. On Election Day, votes must be cast at a person’s assigned precinct.
Voters per Lakeland precinct were not available from Mrs. Phillips.
