It will be a “Safari Soiree” for guests at the Annual LES (Lakeland Elementary School) PTA Auction which will be held Feb. 26th at Hillwood at Davies Manor in Bartlett. Your in person ticket includes a dinner catered by Draper’s Catering, and access to the fabulous silent and online auction items.
Online only auction tickets are also available at a reduced rate (dinner not included), but not all items will be available online. In person attendance is encouraged to take advantage of the food and access to ALL the auction items, such as Teacher Features, Specialty Cakes, Dillard’s Lock Boxes, Wine Pull and Restaurant Row.
Tickets went on sale this week and this event usually sells out, so you are encouraged to get yours fast! Also new this year is the opportunity to purchase a ticket online for a teacher to be able to attend with your donation. Tickets may be purchased HERE.
Kembree Darakshani, VP of Ways and Means for the PTA and Auction chair, told Lakeland Currents, “The auction provides a fun environment to mix and mingle with other parents, teachers, faculty and local Lakeland residents, while raising money for the elementary school.” In the last 10 years, the list of PTA purchases for the school is lengthy including educational programs, technology, playground equipment, water bottle-filling stations for each grade level, shade coverings for playgrounds and risers for the programs in the gymnasium. The PTA also helps fund clubs and field trips, so no child ever pays to attend a field trip.
