One of the most anticipated and community driven events of the Lakeland school year is just around the corner—International Family Night (IFN)! This year’s event, where the Lakeland community comes together to celebrate its rich cultural diversity, will take place on September 17th from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Lakeland Prep (LPS), utilizing both the courtyard and the high school cafeteria.
Organizers say this is a unique opportunity to savor a diverse mix of cuisines from around the globe, all while connecting with fellow community members.
The event is currently seeking table hosts and performers to help make International Family Night another success. If you’re passionate about sharing your culture—whether through food, traditions, or entertainment—consider hosting a table. You can sign up to be part of this global celebration by visiting https://bit.ly/TableHost2024 before September 1st. For any questions, feel free to reach out to agarland@lakelandk12.org.
Last year’s special performances were a highlight, and this year’s event promises to be just as spectacular. Don’t miss out on this wonderful evening of cultural exchange and community spirit!
