IH Managerial Park will remain a hub of community activity throughout the second half of 2026, as the City of Lakeland prepares a diverse lineup of events aimed at bringing residents together through recreation, entertainment, and family-friendly programming.
The summer schedule begins in July with an Adult Paint + Dip event, providing adults an opportunity to enjoy a creative evening outdoors while connecting with fellow community members. The city will also celebrate Parks and Recreation Month with a series of four Friday events held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., encouraging families to explore and enjoy Lakeland’s parks and recreational amenities.
As the new school year approaches, the park will host a Back-to-School Celebration on Aug. 1. The event will feature a screening of Monsters University along with a water slide and other activities designed to help students and families celebrate the end of summer before classes resume.
Music will once again take center stage during Lakeland’s popular LAMP Concert Series. The first concert is scheduled for Aug. 22 and will feature the Neon Mooners. A second concert, combined with the city’s Homecoming celebration, is planned for Sept. 26, with performers to be announced at a later date.
Teenagers will have an event of their own on Sept. 12 when Teen Glow Night returns to the park. The evening will include a silent disco and gaming activities, offering a unique entertainment experience tailored specifically for local youth.
The season will conclude on Oct. 24 with Lakeland’s annual Harvest Festival and LAMP Concert. The event will feature a performance by Rowdy and the Strays and is expected to draw residents from across the community for an afternoon and evening of entertainment, food, and seasonal festivities.
City officials say the packed calendar reflects Lakeland’s continued investment in community programming and creating opportunities for residents of all ages to gather, connect, and enjoy the city’s growing parks system.
