IH Clubhouse roof replacement next week will impact parking lot

The PULSe meeting will be held at IH Clubhouse on Canada Rd.

A project to replace the roof at IH Park starts Tuesday (5.14.19) impacting parking at the facility.

Kevin Rooney, director of Parks and Recreation, said a portion of the parking lot will be blocked off Monday afternoon allowing workers to set up equipment Tuesday morning.

“They are projecting the project to take three days, so we just want give anyone planning on going to the park at that time a heads up. We will open the gravel lot on the gas line to help with the blocked off parking areas,” said Mr. Rooney

During the April Parks and Recreation Advisory Board meeting, it was announced IH Park is undergoing internal and external improvements and upgrades this spring.

Two Eagle Scouts will install new benches around the lake along with new picnic tables. Bids were completed for work to repair the leaky roof and fascia boards around the gutters. Once all of the leaks and water damage have been addressed, 40 new tables and 160 new chairs will be purchased for the IH conference room.
