LMPS (Lakeland Middle Preparatory School) students, staff and faculty were treated to a surprise visit by Arlington-based Lickety Split Ice Cream Truck Thursday (5.2.19).
The second-annual tradition – courtesy of the LMPS PTO – celebrates the end of TCAP testing and the close of the school year.

Lickety Split owners Rennie and John Williams remarked how polite and courteous the students were.
Students were given six choices. The clear frontrunner was the Snow Cone, which sold out about two-thirds of the way through the two-hour event held during staggered recess.
Enthusiastic and eager middle schoolers consumed 880 pieces of ice cream.
