The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) reminds citizens they offer Vacation Checks of residences.
To be added to the list, call the SCSO Report Center at 222-5690 anytime, 24/7.
A homeowners must leave his/her name, address, the day leaving for vacation, the day returning and a local emergency contact number.
Also alert the Report Center of vehicles left in the driveway, lights turned on or any scheduled visitors coming to the residence.
