The Lakeland Chamber of Commerce recently announced the speakers for the monthly luncheon which is scheduled for June 28th at 11:30am. As in the past, the lunch meeting will be held at the Lakeland Golf Club, formerly known as Stonebridge.
The guest speakers for June will be Paul Luker, City Planning Director for Lakeland, and Carlin Stuart, City Finance Director. The event will be sponsored by Fireworks City and Catered by Ain’t It the Life Catering.
Some of the biggest topics in Lakeland flow through these two departments (planning and finance), particularly projects which would be under Mr. Luker’s purview. This would be a wonderful opportunity to ask specific questions about projects like Lakeland Town Square or the upcoming Ashmont project located at Canada Rd and Davies Plantation Road. The lunch is open to both members and non-members.
