Last week it was Marshall Steakhouse announcing they will join The Lake District, this week Frost Bake Shop made the announcement to do the same.
Frost Bake Shop, the extremely popular and locally owned and operated bake shop has chosen The Lake District for it’s third location in the Memphis region. Frost Bake Shop is well known in the region for cakes, cupcakes, specialty cookies and other freshly baked desserts. According to a release the morning of March 3, 2021, this addition helps round out the retail already committed to the project by bringing a bake shop of sweet products to the high growth area.
The Frost shop will occupy 3,200 SF of space in phase 1 which is currently under construction.
Bill Kloos, founder and owner of Frost said he is anticipating a positive response to this addition. “Our amazing team has worked hard to make this possible and we look forward to offering our made from scratch desserts, and great service, to Lakeland and the surrounding areas,” says Kloos.
Frost currently has two locations—one at Poplar and Perkins in East Memphis and the other in Collierville. According to the owners Lakeland’s growth, demographics and location played a key role in the decision to expand further.
