The Lakeland Middle Preparatory School (LMPS) volleyball team played their first match tonight (8.15.17) at the LMPS gym meeting rival Arlington Middle School.
Kevin Floyd, chair of the Lakeland School Board, was at the game and said, “Arlington won a hard fought match two games to zero.” He added, ” The atmosphere was electric.”
The new middle school opened last week and now begins a series of “firsts” in sports and other arenas.
