The Lakeland Senior Center (LSC) has announced special programs for February, according to Kim Odom, LSC manager and special events coordinator for Lakeland.

Craft Corner
Feb. 11th – 10:30 a.m. Canvas art by Penny Monroe.
Mosaics Studio – 5-week class
Thursdays – Feb. 13th – March 12th – 11 a.m. Provided by Creative Aging. Learn basic skills needed to work with the art of mosaics from local mosaic artist Kristi Duckworth, including drawing and coloring a mosaic piece pattern, cutting the piece out of clay, glaze, adhering mosaic pieces and grouting. Limited to 10 participants. Must pre-register.
February Luncheon
Feb. 18th – 11:30 a.m. Pizza and dessert will be served. Entertainment provided by Creative Aging. Come enjoy a 45-minute theater production of Shakespeare’s 12th Night by the Tennessee Shakespeare Company. If you can’t eat pizza, let us know when you RSVP, said Mrs. Odom.
