A two-vehicle crash at U.S. Highway 70 near Adagio Lane and Lakeland City Hall late this afternoon (8.26.19) has taken the life of one person, according to the Shelby County Sheriff’s office (SCSO).
A person transported to Regional One Health in Memphis in critical condition was pronounced dead at the hospital, according to SCSO. No other details were available from SCSO.
Traffic in both directions of the Highway was delayed for hours. Cause of the crash is under investigation by SCSO.
