The LPS PTO’s Fall Fête Fundraiser proved to be an unforgettable evening, blending community spirit with elegance and fun. Held on a crisp autumn night at Hillwood on November 22nd, the adult-only event captivated guests with its carefully curated mix of live music, delicious dining, fine drinks, and artistic showcases.
A standout feature of the event was the Exclusive VIP Cocktail Hour for Sponsors, which took place from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. Attendees were treated to a selection of bourbon and wine tastings, offering a perfect opportunity to sample drinks that pair well with your Thanksgiving meal. The booth, hosted by Jennifer Eaton and courtesy of Lake District Wine and Liquor, highlighted selections from smooth bourbons to crisp prossecco and deep red wines. Guests enjoyed the luxury of tasting these exceptional spirits while mingling and discussing their favorites, all to the backdrop of live strings musician, Estefan Perez, who set a sophisticated tone for the evening.
Equally impressive was the display of local art by renowned artists Amy Stricklin and Samantha Walker, whose works were featured in a special exhibit and were available for purchase. Each artist’s stunning pieces added a polished touch to the event. Samantha’s vibrant Plein Art paintings and watercolors, paired with Amy’s intimate portrayals of nature, captivated attendees and provided an additional layer of luxury to the evening.
As the sun set, the atmosphere shifted to a lively celebration with dinner and conversation. A seasonal menu featuring dishes such as pecan-encrusted chicken, prime rib, and seasonal sides delighted guests. The Bruce Kee Band & Duo energized the crowd, providing a mix of music that had everyone enjoying the festive spirit.
Throughout the night, attendees were also able to peruse fine jewelry by Hollie Winter Jewelry and tarnish-free jewelry by Belle Haven, creating an immersive shopping experience that perfectly complemented the event’s theme. The fall décor, from intricate table settings to ambient lighting, completed the night’s elegant vibe, making it a truly memorable occasion.
Fall Fête not only celebrated local talent and community but also raised funds for the LPS PTO, ensuring future initiatives and helping to establish traditions for Lakeland Preparatory Middle and High Schools.
With its perfect blend of luxury, creativity, and entertainment, the Fall Fête was a resounding success—one that attendees are sure to look forward to in years to come.
