The Lakeland Public Works department has scheduled the final Community Clean Up day for 2023 to be held this Saturday, November 4th. City officials noted citizens will no longer bring items they would like disposed of to Fireworks City as in previous years. Items will now be brought to Lakeland City Hall located at 10001 Highway 70. Below you will find a map of City Hall and how residents will drive through to drop off their items. The city of Lakeland will allow entrance to this facility for this event only, and residents will be told to follow the specific areas that says, “authorized vehicles only.”
Examples of accepted items on Saturday will be:
- Bulk trash
- E-Waste (TVs, monitors, computers, printers, cell phones, cell batteries, car batteries)
- White Goods (washers, dryers, small appliances, NO REFRIGERATORS)
- Tires (limit 4, no rims)
- Scrap Metals
- Construction debris (residential only, please bend nails down)
- Yard Waste
