Early vote schedule revised for Aug. 2 election

Early voting for the Aug. 2 Shelby County General Election and State/Federal Primary and Memphis Special has been revised and includes five locations for the first three days starting tomorrow (7.13.18).

The early vote runs July 13 to July 28 and five locations will be open July 13, 16 and 17.

Early vote locations starting tomorrow (7.13.18)

Abundant Grace Fellowship Church 1574 E. Shelby Dr Memphis

Dave Wells Community Center 915 Chelsea Ave Memphis

Mississippi Blvd. Church – Family Life Center 70 N. Bellevue Blvd Memphis

New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church 7786 Poplar Pike Germantown

Shelby County Election Commission 980 Nixon Drive Memphis

The Refuge Church in Lakeland, 9817 Huff N Puff Rd, opens Tuesday, July 17.

There were claims of discrimination about the early vote locations and the NAACP filed a lawsuit against the Shelby County Election Commission (SCEC).  The most recent schedule posted on the SCEC website shows five locations opening Friday with the remainder opening Tuesday.
