You may have seen Disney’s Descendants movies on the Disney channel over the years. We follow Mal, Evie, Carlos, Jay who are the children of four well known Disney villains with a host of other characters you have seen in Disney movies. This your opportunity to see the Disney’s Descendants presented by LPS Theatre Company where the four children travel from the Isle of the Lost flair to Auradon with incredible music, dance, and a whole lot of fun! The premiere is this Thursday at 7pm
From the directors: Disney’s Descendants explores the internal battle between good and evil within us all. The young descendants of Disney’s heroes and villains face a key question: Can they break free from their past, or are they destined to repeat it? Through their decisions, they learn that their future is determined by their actions, not their lineage.
Ultimately, Descendants is about finding our own path and understanding that we are defined not by where we come from, but by the choices we make.
We are also very excited that this is our first show to feature several student designers. We are so very proud of Truman Heames, Addy Blu Maness, Zoey Yale (and her amazing crew – Oriana Martin, Nola Harrivel, Avery Green, and Vicky Torrealba) and Carrington Criswell for their creativity, insight and hard work. Another first is adding student musicians to our outstanding pit orchestra conducted by Tate Hansen. We are excited they get this unique performance opportunity at such a young age. We also want to thank our tremendously creative and talented parents who have helped with props, make up, lobby, set, and costumes. Their contributions really helped our vision come to life and we couldn’t have done it without them.
