Looking for something fun and free to do this month?  Discovery Park in Union City, TN, is offering free admission the month of January to children 17 and under.  This is made possible thanks to their sponsors: ATA Accounting Firm, Magnolia Place Assisted Living, Simmons Bank and Southern Machinery Repair.

Discovery Park is just a 2 hour car ride away, perfect for a day trip adventure to get the kids out of the house.  While admission is free, they do offer special attractions such as an Earthquake Simulator, Cooper Tower and Starship Theater for additional charges.  You can find out about all they have to offer HERE.

Katie Jarvis, Marketing & PR Manager for the Park said, “It is a great opportunity for families to experience the museum and 50-acre heritage park, especially after a year that was full of virtual learning and uncertainty.”

Ms. Jarvis also stated, “We require all guests and employees to wear masks while at the park, have plenty of hand sanitation stations throughout the park, and have plenty of space to social distance from other guests.”  Discovery Park is open Thursday – Monday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The museum and heritage park are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
