The City of Lakeland Parks & Recreation Department has announced details for the second annual “Holiday Cheer,” Christmas Caravan Parade. The date is set for Saturday, December 11, 2021, beginning at 10:00am.
Local residents, organizations, and businesses are invited to join the fun as they spread cheer to Lakeland neighborhoods. Shelby County deputies will escort and participate in the caravan parade. There is limited space so get your entry form fast.
Line-up will begin at 9am at the new athletic complex located at 9661 Memphis-Arlington Rd. A limited amount of floats will be allowed. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to display their logos.
Please note that if your business is not a member of the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, there is a $50 participation fee. The deadline is Friday, November 26, 2021. Make check out to City of Lakeland and mail to: Lakeland City Hall, 10001 Hwy 70, Lakeland, TN 38002, with reference: Xmas parade.
