It was a second chance to get it right — the sledding, shoveling and driving on the slick stuff.
Because it was the second snow in five days — 2+” today (1.16.18) which followed 1+” just last Friday.
Lakeland School System (LSS) students added day number five to their long weekend: Friday was a snow day, Monday was MLK Jr. Day and Tuesday was another snow day. And tomorrow will be day #6 as the LSS superintendent announced there will be no school (1.17.18).
And while the frozen precipitation has moved on, the frigid temps have not. Predicted low for tonight? 1°. That’s ONE degree.
