The report from the Shelby County Health Department (SCHD) lists no additional deaths from the virus since Friday. The fatality total for Saturday, Sunday and today is 67. There are 3,315 cases reported today (5.11.20), an increase of 85 cases. Since Sunday there have been 42,239 persons tested in Shelby County, an increase of 1,843.
The positivity rate is 7.8%. Of the 3,315 cases in the County, 1,921 have recovered (57.9%) and 1,327 are current (40%). The death rate of 67 is 2%.
Among the 42,239 total tests, 38,924 (92.2%) are negative, 3,315 (7.8%) are positive.
