Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris is hosting the first-ever Senior Prom June 3rd for constituents over the age of 60.
“A Soulful Night to Remember” will be at the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, 926 E. McLemore in Memphis, from 5-8 p.m.
The Mayor Lee Harris Senior Prom is completely free, according to Danielle Inez, special assistant to the Mayor, and space is limited.
The event will include free food, a champagne toast, live entertainment from the Garry Goin Group and door prizes.
A Prom King and Queen will be selected, said Ms. Inez.
