The City of Lakeland’s Parks and Recreation department is inviting residents to participate in the annual Tennessee Tree Day and Lakeland Arbor Day event. The event will be held at the International Harvester (IH) Managerial Park, which is located at 4523 Canada Road, on Saturday, March 16, from 10:00AM to noon.
To celebrate the occasion residents have the opportunity to top by the event and choose from over 200 tree saplings, including White Oaks, Eastern Redbuds, Flowering Dogwoods, Tulip Poplars, Cherrybark Oaks, Willow Oaks, and River Birches. Officials stressed the trees will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so please arrive early to secure your selection.
