At a recent Board of Commissioners meeting the BOC unanimously approved the appointments of new members to the Lakeland Community Advisory Board (CAB). The following individuals have been appointed to serve on the CAB:
- District 5: JP Castorena
- District 6: Amy Ethridge
- District 8: Jason Eaton
- At-Large 1: Lindsey Reap
- At-Large 2: Reagen Paule
- At-Large 3: Daniel McGarry
- At-Large 4: Meghan Mendelson
- At-Large 5: Adam Bryant
The CAB plays a vital role in addressing community concerns and generating ideas that benefit the entire Lakeland area. Members meet bi-monthly to discuss pressing issues from their respective districts and to brainstorm initiatives that can enhance the overall community. When necessary, they escalate actionable ideas to the Board of Commissioners (BOC) for further consideration.
The newly appointed members are set to begin their terms with the next CAB meeting, scheduled for October, where they will collaborate on several community matters.
